流行病学教研室现有在编专任教师5人，其中教授1人，副教授1人，讲师3人。入选浙江省高校领军人才计划青年拔尖人才1人、院士结对英才计划1人、浙江省科协“育才工程”培养对象1人、华体体育全站app下载“远志优青”1人、“远志优博”1人。
教学方面，目前开设本科生、研究生流行病学相关课程必修课和选修课的教学。开设的课程主要有：流行病学、高级流行病学、公共卫生事件案例分析、预防医学导论、疫苗学等。其中，《流行病学》荣获第一批省级课程思政示范课程。主编人民卫生出版社《疫苗与免疫》等教材，参编浙江大学出版社英文版《流行病学》、《医学统计学》、《预防医学》等教材。近5年，主持校级教改课题近10项，发表教改论文多篇。
指导本科生荣获全国大学生创新创业项目、“新苗人才计划”、校级学生科研项目10余项，荣获全国中医药院校大学生课外学术作品竞赛二等奖1项，浙江省挑战杯大学生竞赛二等奖1项、三等奖3项，浙江省“民生民意杯”统计调查方案设计大赛二等奖1项、三等奖2项，浙江省大学生生命科学竞赛三等奖1项。指导本科生发表学术论文10余篇。
科研方面，成立了传染病与疫苗研究所，由傅传喜副院长担任研究所所长。教研室成员先后承担国家自然科学基金面上项目2项、青年项目2项、省部级课题4项、厅局级项目5项、国际合作项目3项、横向课题5项，以第一或通讯作者发表SCI论文70余篇，其中一区7篇，二区20余篇。学科每年招收公共卫生专业硕士5-6名，多名研究生荣获学校拔尖创新人才培养对象及优秀毕业生称号。
There are five full-time teachers in the Department Epidemiology at Zhejiang Chinese Medical University School of Public Health, including one professor, one associate professor and three assistant professors. They have been selected into the Leading Talent Program of Colleges and Universities in Zhejiang Province, academician pairing program, Talent Project of Zhejiang Association for Science and Technology, "Yuanzhi Youqing" and "Yuanzhi Youbo" of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University.
At present, the main compulsory courses and elective courses offeredforundergraduate and graduate students includeEpidemiology,Advanced Epidemiology,Case Analysis of Public Health Events,Introduction to Preventive Medicine,Vaccinology, etc. Among them,Epidemiologywon the First Batch of Provincial Ideological and Political Demonstration Courses. The teachers have been involved in editingtext books including Vaccines and Immunization, Epidemiology, Medical Statistics, and Preventive Medicine. In the recent five years, they have received over ten projects of education and teaching reform and research, and published several papers related to teaching reform.
They also have guided undergraduates and received more than ten student projects including National College Students' innovation and entrepreneurship projects, and "new talent plan". The students won the second prize in the National College Students' extracurricular academic works competition of traditional Chinese medicine, one second prize and three third prizes in the “Challenge Cup” College Students Academic and Scientific Work Competition of Zhejiang province, one second prize and two third prizes in the Zhejiang "People's livelihood, public opinion Cup" Statistical Survey Design Competition, one third prize in Zhejiang college students' Life Science Competition. They also have guided undergraduates and published more than ten papers.
In terms of scientific research, the Institute of infectious diseases and vaccines was established, and vice president Dr. Fu Chuanxi served as the director of the Institute. In total, the teachers have received fundings from the Natural Science Foundation of China, and the Natural Science Foundation of Zhejiang Province. They have published more than 70 SCI papers as the first or corresponding author. Every year, they recruit 5-6 master students in public health, and several postgraduate students have won the title of Top Innovative Talent Training Object and Excellent Graduates.
